It's 2019!!! What a better time to make a commitment to express GRATITUDE all year!
Admittedly, I stink at getting timely thank you cards out (it took almost a full year get out my wedding thank you *insert cry emoji*). However, I absolutely LOVE receiving them!
The weight of a hand written thank you card is heavy! You can pretty much write a thank you card for anything...
Heck, get your kids to write thank you cards as well. Even Santa Claus could use a little appreciation!
Here are 5 RosesRntRed tips to help you write a genuine and personal thank you card after your event!
1. Do your best to be timely (don't be like me lol). A thank you card a month or so after your event is the icing on top of an already beautiful occasion.
2. Make it as personal as possible. One of my girlfrens just sent a thank you card out of a picture we took in Miami on her birthday. I opened it and was like "OMG, it's me" lol. She used www.postable.com
3. Add specific details to your note. "Thank you for coming to my New Year brunch, you always bring the best champagne and all the laughs."
4. Tell them that you're looking forward to spending time with them again...(only if you mean it!).
5. End with regards that reflect your relationship with that person. You may not want to end a note with "Best Wishes" for Mom, but that could be appropriate for your coworker.

Happy New Year,
Aarika from RosesRntRed
Oh what a night!!! Our birthday girl wanted to bring a New York loft style dinner party to Dallas, TX and we did just that! The candle lights and the views of downtown set the mood just right to make guests feel like they were transported to Manhattan. The wine and champagne was flowing all evening but the dinner and dessert were truly show stoppers! When the plates were cleared, the DJ turned up the tunes and got the party started. Timmoneshia's night was full of glam, laughter, great food, and great company. At RosesRntRed, we consider that a recipe for a successful start to your best year yet!

Thanksgiving can either be a great time full of love, family, friends, great food, and football...or it could be a stressful time full of nosey Aunts, too many chefs in the kitchen, drunk uncles, and a burnt turkey. Either way, the one thing you get to fully control as a host is your thanksgiving tablescape! Tablescapes may be an afterthought to most but at RosesRntRed we love to see tables full of personality on thanksgiving day. Here are 5 ways your table can be the topic of the conversation (and not your love life).
1. Use your favorite throw blanket as a tablecloth.
2. Get jazzy with patterns!
3. Use "off season" flowers and color palettes .
4. Incorporate decor from the kiddos.
5. Beautify items that can be found around the house.
Happy Turkey Day!!! Above all, remember to give thanks for all of your blessings!
The RosesRntRed team got a chance to check out The Hall on Dragon, a romantic new venue in the Design District. Fun fact...we've been to this space before under different ownership, but we have to tell you, the transformation was outstanding!!! The space was open and the lighting was inviting. It reminded us of walking into a secret speakeasy with awesome surprises at every entryway. What we absolutely loved about this venue was the bride and groom suites! They embodied everything you could ever want in a man cave or she shed! This space would be perfect for themed weddings and parties. There is a lot of space to fill so the design opportunities are endless!

We recently had the opportunity to preview a venue booked for a 2018 #RosesRntRed event fully decked out in all its' glitz and glamour! Cavanaugh Flight Museum is definitely not your typical event space. There were planes, helicopters, and tanks in eye shot at all times. There was plenty of space to mix and mingle, eat, and dance. Cavanaugh is truly a gem in the Dallas area. We're thinking weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events...EVERYTHING! The roof is a blank canvas that could accommodate drapery and lighting that would totally transform the space! But honestly, Cavanaugh is show stopper in its raw true form. We are super excited to bring our clients vision into fruition here next year! Stay tuned!

A perfect evening turned into a perfect night as two perfect people joined in perfect matrimony. From the gorgeous lighting of the warehouse ceremony, to the Macallan whisky tasting at the reception, every second of this day was thoughtful and honored the personalities of the bride and the groom. Not to mention, Christin and Christina threw a Brooklyn party that will go down in wedding history! Our very own Cuzin Junebug was given the honor to serve as the master of ceremony for the evening. The dance floor was never empty and the guests partied before the first course hit the tables. We loved sharing this day with this beautiful couple. They are prime examples of how Roses Rnt Red!

On September 16th we celebrated the birthday of sweet Miss Cori Rose! This ice cream themed extravaganza was a blast to plan! The day was fully decked out to theme with a handmade ice cream truck, a sundae bar, bubbles and a ball pit! The only thing missing was a DJ....wait, we had that too! First birthdays are said to be more for the parents than the kids, but we like to think Miss Cori Rose had the best time of her 12 month life!
